Mariana Rondon joined the business in 2019.
She started her career at S-RM in the Resilience business unit, leading complex security risk and crisis management projects in Latin America.
Before joining S-RM, Mariana worked as a project manager and institutional development coordinator at Igarapé Institute, a think tank that specialised in security and criminal justice issues in Latin America. From 2014 to 2016, Mariana was the International Dignitary Programme manager and deputy manager of the Dignitary Coordination Centre of the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Committee, responsible for the visits of Heads of State and Sports Ministers during the Games. Previously, Mariana worked for 10 years at the United Nations, holding different positions at UN-Habitat, UNICEF and UNDSS (Department of Safety and Security).
Mariana has a Master’s degree in International Relations from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ).
