  • Reporting in to the Credit Control Manager
  • Collaborate with the Finance team in handling the accounting department’s work flow in order for it to excel and evolve as we continue to grow
  • Actively managing the companies debtors with an aim to reduce overall debtor days
  • Preparing and entering sales invoices, credit notes and bank receipts
  • Partnering with Business Unit coordinators and assisting in their invoice processes
  • Instilling best practice credit control procedures
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Facilitate improvement of debtor days and customer ageing by building relationship with clients
  • Assisting in the preparation of cash forecasts with regards to receipts
  • Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assist external audit team in annual statutory audit



what we’re looking for

The qualifications and experience required to perform this role successfully are:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
  • Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail


The jobholder will need to have the following key personal skills and attributes to perform successfully in this role:

  • Strong communication skills displayed through confident interpersonal, public speaking and presentational abilities – effective at delivering and influencing at all levels.
  • Significant experience of providing results in demanding and high risk situations and environments.
  • Industrious and dynamic personality with the ability to consistently deliver a high quality service within tight deadlines whilst overcoming critical obstacles.
  • Willingness to respond to and support crises whilst interacting with globally based staff and clients.
  • Adept problem solver with a proven ability in identifying critical operational priorities whilst maintaining quality of service to the client at all times.
  • Adept at identifying reputational risk and managing threats.
  • IT proficient with a willingness and ability to learn new technical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to follow client and incident specific procedures.
  • Ability to manage personnel and resources effectively.

The role will be based in our London office. All candidates must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
