Purpose

We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our growing team, based in the UK. This is a varied position with great opportunities to learn and progress quickly within a tight-knit team. This role supports all aspects of S-RM’s marketing activities, from administrative and technical tasks through to content, events, and digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for marketing, and be keen to gain experience across a broad range of specialisms, including data and analytics, content, social media, digital marketing, and sales enablement. Reporting Lines

Reporting to the Marketing Manager.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Content and Social Media Marketing

Helping to deliver S-RM’s busy content calendar and lead on the management of S-RM’s organic social media posting, including:

  • Proofreading content
  • Writing intranet articles for internal audiences
  • Supporting web content production by uploading and editing blog posts
  • Drafting copy for social media and scheduling posts via S-RM’s marketing automation platform, HubSpot
  • Briefing S-RM’s Design team to develop relevant creative assets for social media

Marketing Reporting

Supporting the Marketing Manager and other members of the team with marketing reporting requirements, including:

  • Maintaining a marketing dashboard with key performance indicators that will inform the creation of a monthly marketing report for S-RM’s Executive Committee
  • Providing weekly engagement score updates on content campaign metrics
  • Supporting the Marketing Communications Specialist with the weekly distribution of marketing-qualified leads updates to S-RM’s Business Development team
  • Delivering ad hoc reporting updates on the success of specific marketing initiatives to the Head of Marketing, Head of Content, and other internal stakeholders

Website Management

Assisting with the maintenance of S-RM’s website, including:

  • Inputting and managing external data within HubSpot, ensuring the database remains current, relevant, and GDPR-compliant; this includes uploading contact information and managing distribution lists to support email marketing campaigns
  • Running site audits on SEMrush to identify broken links on S-RM’s website, improving the website and enhancing its search engine optimisation
  • Making updates to forms, lists, and automated workflows in HubSpot to support the distribution of S-RM’s thought leadership

Sales Enablement, Events, and Administrative Support

Providing administrative support to S-RM’s Marketing and Business Development teams, including:

  • Monitoring S-RM’s Hello and Insight inboxes for the timely distribution of prospective and current client requests among key stakeholders within the business
  • Assisting with the ordering of marketing or business development collateral such as flyers and business cards, in addition to merchandise ordering to support stakeholders attending events
  • Managing the distribution of feedback surveys to clients following the closure of projects

The role will be based in our London office.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

The qualifications and experience required to perform this role successfully are:

  • Either a Bachelors’ degree with a minimum of 6 months experience in a marketing role or a minimum of 2 years professional practice in a marketing role
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems desirable, with HubSpot knowledge preferred
  • Experience scheduling and writing social posts for business purposes
  • Experience writing for different audiences and channels
  • Experience analysing marketing metrics for business purposes
  • Intermediate to advanced Google Analytics knowledge
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • B2B experience desirable
