S-RM is looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our business, to help drive digital transformation and the adoption of new processes to enable the business to perform to optimum levels.

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with a range of stakeholders including Technology staff, consultancy teams and Product leaders
  • Reporting into the Head of IT (based out of London) and collaborating with Senior Systems Engineer and other Technology team members
  • Establishing DevOps capabilities and best practices within the business. Acting as ‘DevOps Champion’ and driving the adoption of new tech, processes and policies
  • Implementing new DevOps and related Architecture into a Greenfield environment, ensuring solution are scalable and best in class
  • Building and embedding tools to enable the business to move to automated and scalable deployment practices, decommissioning legacy systems and processes
  • Optimising CICD pipelines, pushing code into production on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Building out Infrastructure As Code (using Terraform, Bicep, ARM etc.) and “Virtual Machine” based solutions across the business
  • Leveraging Azure cloud services and a range of back-end technologies, API’s and progressive software tooling

The role will be based in our London office however flexible working arrangements are available.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

The qualifications and experience desired for this role include:

  • Proven System Administration experience across both Windows and Linux
  • Scripting skills with at least one of Python, JavaScript or PowerShell
  • Ideally, a strong interest in Cyber Security, Forensics and/ or Ethical Hacking

The successful candidate must have permission to work in the UK by the start of their employment.
