Joe Waterman

Based in New York, Joe is a Senior Advisor for S-RM’s Corporate Intelligence practice in the Americas. Joe specializes in multi-jurisdictional investigations, transactional due diligence, and complex asset recoveries in the U.S, the Middle East and Europe. Prior to joining S-RM, Joe served for over 15 years in both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the U.S. Department of State, leading global intelligence operations, shaping national security strategy, foreign trade relations and cyber program management. His areas of focus were Latin America, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to his federal service, Joe spent 5 years with SAIC Inc. conducting needs assessments, strategic technology adoption and deployment/rollout of cyber defence solutions. Joe is a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught at Boston University.
