Lara Tandy

Lara is Head of S-RM's MENA practice, where she leads complex investigations across the region, specialising in pre-transactional and strategic intelligence engagements for investment banks, private equity firms, development finance institutions, law firms, and corporate clients.  As well as regularly briefing clients, she has provided expert insights for industry and the public sector on geopolitical developments across the Middle East. She regularly travels to the Middle East and North Africa for client account management, business development and to conduct interviews and fieldwork.

Lara has a BA in History from the University of Oxford and an MSc in International Relations of the Middle East with Arabic from the University of Edinburgh. Lara is a member of the Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists and holds the OFAC Essentials Certificate in addition to the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing. Lara is an Arabic, French and Persian speaker.
