Michael is an Associate Director on the Disputes & Investigations team. He manages complex litigation support and asset tracing engagements, the majority of which are multi-jurisdictional in nature. Michael has particular experience of disputes involving sovereign states, and has worked both for and against various sovereigns on high-profile litigation, arbitration, and enforcement matters. Michael also regularly undertakes mandates relating to active conflict zones, including in the context of insurance and sanctions-related disputes. He holds a BA in History and Political Science from Trinity College, Dublin and an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and speaks German and Irish.
