S-RM’s Perspecta service is a combination of AI-enabled due diligence technology and human expertise, helping organisations to uncover and manage risk associated with their counterparties, suppliers, and third parties, at scale.

Perspecta uses AI technology and machine learning to find key information related to individuals and companies globally, sourcing corporate record information such as ownership, shareholding and directors, as well as automatically searching compliance databases for sanctions, watchlist and PEP information. In addition, the tool will search across 1000s of sources globally for adverse media information, and using its algorithms, create key summaries of data, filter and further enhance the findings. In less than 30 minutes, users can obtain an automated red-flag report which used to take 5 days to produce using traditional manual processes.

Once a subject (company/organisation or individual) is entered into the platform, S-RM’s Perspecta solution will automate a subject validation process, gathering data automatically, synthesising relevant identifiers and parsing information through its subject identification process. It then automatically starts the process of searching structured datasets, unstructured media sources and other data sources across 45+ languages and 1000s of sources globally. No human intervention is needed for S-RM’s Perspecta Pulse report, however users may upgrade to include our “human-in-the-loop” service providing assurance and analysis of the automatically collected and summarised data.

S-RM offers the Perspecta service to any type of organisation or company wishing to better understand the profile and risks relating to their counterparties, vendors, third-parties, customers, suppliers, etc. The use case can include and span anything from KYC & CDD, AML, and customer onboarding (typically conducted by a financial institution such as a bank, Trust, private equity, etc) through to broader reputational analysis for third-party risk management, covering risks spanning the full spectrum from sanctions and watchlists, through to risks and issues under ESG, ownership and UBO identification, or other controversy that might have a negative impact on the business relationship.

The main difference between S-RM’s Perspecta Pulse and Perspecta Diligence reports is the human analysis and assurance provided in the Perspecta Diligence report. Our analysts spend up to 2 hours per name going through results, checking links, unpicking summaries for accuracy and consistency, and revising information discarded as false positives or irrelevant by the AI and machine learning algorithms. S-RM’s analysts are highly experienced and trained to spot inconsistencies or confusion between subjects and topics and will conduct any necessary additional searches to confirm or deny information before producing a succinct and contextualised summary of key findings. Finally, S-RM provides an expert-driven suggestion for possible next steps considering what information has or has not been found through the initial Perspecta Pulse searches, for example, to conduct Enhanced Due Diligence, or perhaps specifically focus on uncovering the ultimate beneficiaries.

Yes, S-RM’s Monitoring solution is available as a separate subscription via the S-RM Portal. Users may seamlessly enable monitoring once a Perspecta report is completed and receive timely monitoring alerts via email and the Portal.

Yes, S-RM’s Perspecta Pusle and Perspecta Diligence reports may be run on both individuals (natural persons) and companies/organisations. Users may also request a combination of related subjects for a Perspecta Diligence report as a bundle request, for example the company plus two key individuals or directors.

S-RM’s Perspecta Pulse report covers 45+ major global languages natively, including Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Russian, Arabic, and many more. Native scripts may be included as part of the search criteria and will be used to enhance the checks conducted in local languages. 

Yes, S-RM offers integration options via an API to other platforms or systems with open APIs available.

S-RM’s Perspecta service is delivered via a SaaS platform, on an annual subscription basis. Customers may select a subscription band and consume credits for the varying levels of service.
